Museum Exhibits

Housed at the Advanced Proton Source visitors center at a local National Laboratory, Il, this is a permanent exhibit demonstrating the principles of diffraction. A laser beam is directed through targets selected by rotating a precision magazine of eight slide carriers. The resulting diffraction pattern is displayed directly on a white target screen and in a much larger version on the video monitor above.
